IN CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2025
This International Women’s Day, join us as we spotlight the
changemakers within Peatix communities and beyond who are driving
progress toward gender equality. Through their stories, discover
the passion behind their work, the impact they are making, and how
you, too, can play a role in breaking barriers and accelerating
meaningful change.
Because when we rise together,
everyone thrives.

Founded by Vivian Lim and Divya Parmar, GEN is an impact-driven organization from the 2 curators of TEDx Singapore, dedicated to closing gender gaps and bridging generational divides. Through thought-provoking curation, meaningful conversations, and a focus on Asian perspectives, GEN aspires to accelerate action toward a more equitable and gender-balanced future.

The Codette Project is a pioneering collective dedicated to empowering Muslim women and minority communities with access and opportunities in Tech. Founded in 2015 by Nurul Jihadah, the non-profit redefines success by championing inclusivity, economic empowerment, and representation through workshops, funding, mentorship, events, and more. The Codette Project hopes to build a future where diversity drives innovation and creates a sustainable impact.

Empowering Women
Here at Peatix, we believe that every community is enriched by the presence and contribution of women.
Each year, we look forward to featuring the causes and initiatives championed by folks who identify as women. We celebrate their achievements and consistent actions with these stories.
This year, we are diving into the International Women’s Day theme of ‘Accelerating Action’ by spotlighting communities in Singapore and US who through their work and mission, have been lowering systematic barriers and biases for women.
